You've come to the right place if you have questions about the following topics and don't know how to solve them:

My work as a sustainability manager is strongly influenced by my work as an organizational developer and agile methods. Business issues and requirements are becoming more complex and the opportunity to make complex tasks manageable without losing focus is an essential part of my professional understanding.

My professional history started in the field of digital product development in the area of user experience and information architecture. The detailed work on digital projects strongly influenced my work and still makes me look closely at stakeholders and actors involved.

As an systemic organizational developer, I support companies in the development of their work processes and structures with a clear view of systemic mechanisms. Skills from agile coaching and mediation complete this work and enable me to provide holistic support

In the area of sustainability management, I deal with a variety of complex topics. The topic of the circular economy is important to me (have a look at recyclingmonitor) and CSRD reporting is also something I deal with on a daily basis.

As the tasks are getting bigger and more complex and I believe in collaboration, I work closely with other experts from collectiv:a.

Sustainability Management including agile CSRD

Sustainability management is not a new invention. However, it is acquiring new terminology, new rules and a new urgency. I support companies in dealing with systemic issues and new requirements (e.g. CSRD) and in creating sustainable business models and organizational structures.

What you can expect from me amongst others:

  • Applying CSRD as a structuring element for organizational development / Definition & usage of agile CSRD

  • Analysis of actual state / Materiality analysis / Stakeholder analysis

  • Development of sustainable strategies and business models

  • Implementation and application of the defined strategies

  • Iterative adaptation of organizational and communication structures in consideration of CSRD

  • Implementation of agile & co-creative transformation routines

  • Team building & coaching

  • Accompanying transformation routines

Master Thesis / Plastic Credits and EPR

A small reference to my master thesis. “Plastic Credits. Analysis of opportunities and challenges for the implementation of plastic offsetting certificates (plastic credits) in Lusaka, Zambia”.

Abstract: Plastic credits (PCs) could be part of the solution to the global waste problem. In this book, the author investigates whether and how plastic credits can act as a bridge on the road to implementing extended producer responsibility (EPR). While PCs can be used in the short term, EPR schemes are long-lasting processes. As both mechanisms follow similar principles, it is possible that PCs can be used in the short term to optimise the handling of plastic waste and the involvement of producers and to lay the foundations for the final goal of EPR implementation. This question is addressed through a literature review and a field study of waste management in Lusaka, Zambia.

It has been published in November 2023 and can be found at Tectum.
